MEET THE OWNER
Of all the ways she can turn hair dreams into reality, Katlyn's first love was the art of creating perfectly lived-in color.
Ever since, her devotion has only grown, learning as much as she could, continuing her color education with many educators including Lo Wheeler from Davis Salon in Los Angeles and becoming Luxury Hairstylist Certified.

Katlyn has previously lived in the Bay Area where her first salon location in Los Gatos was born and now living in Monterey with her second salon in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea.
As both a color and extensions specialist. Katlyn is WBR™ (Waterfalll Beaded Row), IBE (Invisible Beaded Row) and Habit certified for hand- tied extensions as well as Bellami certified in wefts, tape-ins, tips and k-tips. She continues studying hand-tied and other extension methods so she can always recommend what’s best for each individual guest.
Added dimension, seamless blending is what Katlyn loves to do. When it comes to natural-looking color and extensions, color is the difference maker. But the real magic, the true beauty, shows up as confidence. The first time a guest’s new hair is revealed, the look in their eyes outshines everything else. Katlyn’s desire to continue playing a role in these transformations has led her to focus her own growth and continuing education on hand tied extensions and color, naturally. Because some things should never change.

Not only does she have a passion in color and extensions, Bridal is also one of the main reasons why she joined the beauty industry specializing in accentuating a brides natural beauty on her wedding day with hair and makeup.

My journey as a hairstylist has been a passion of mine for the last 12 years. With the ever changing industry it is my goal and passion to make my clients happy, I could literally create beautiful hair all day long and love creating looking that work well for my guest and there life styles an everyday needs.

My goal is to offer you a consultation that will lead to amazing and professional results that will be stunning! When it comes to my clients, I want to achieve your hair goals with you. It is my job to ensure nothing more than 100% client satisfaction.
I'm known to play with Vivid Colors and create fun unicorn hair here and there. Some of my other professional endeavors have been glamming up models for fashion shows and music videos. I also create beautifully styled hair for weddings and photo shoots.

I was born and raised here in the beautiful bay area & my love for this place is strong. I started my hair journey here in this sweet town of Los Gatos & I'm stoked to still be creating gorgeous hair years later!
I've been a stylist for 13+ years & have always been inspired by color theory. Being a stylist has allowed me to utilize my creativity while also connecting with others. I really value being able to change someone's energy with just their hair, Hair is magic!
During the week I specialize in lived in dimensional blondes & on the weekends my specialty is all things bridal including airbrush make up. I'm proud of the fact that I continue to keep up to date in all aspects of hair & in particular my specialties. I look forward to meeting you & thanks for choosing to experience my chair!
